Introduction to Domestic Abuse Awareness Co-ordinator Training
Thank you for agreeing to be a Domestic Abuse Awareness Co-ordinator and to help raise awareness about domestic abuse in your workplace. As a Domestic Abuse Awareness Co-ordinator (DAAC) your role will be to help raise awareness and uphold your organisations domestic abuse policy, and you will be a point of contact for any collegues who may be affected by domestic abuse.
What we are not asking you to do is become an expert or to fix problems outside of the guidance given in this training. This is a job for the professionals. We are asking you to respond to collegues, sign-post them to the support they may need, be a potential link between employees and management to help organise any practical support the organisation...
